Biggest Best Playgrounds Indoor Playgrounds

Grove St. Park, Chester, NJ

Sara Rall guest post:
Grove St. Playground in Chester is an excellent, fairly large, shady playground a few blocks south of Main St. They have a large climbing structure for older kids with two climbing walls. There are giant boulders
to climb, too.

For younger children there is a large structure with several slides, gears, periscope, mini picnic table, etc.

There is a sandbox with a digging toy; a big, cable climbing structure; two large and unusual see saws; a spinning toy; several bouncing vehicles; lots of swings, including chair swings; and a gazebo.

Main St. Chester, two blocks away, has lots of interesting shopping, with toy and ice cream stores as well as antiques. Huge Ralston Playground in Mendham is just a few miles east.

From I-287S take exit 36/CR510/Laffayette Ave.  Stay straight to go under the train trestle toward Morris Ave.  Turn right at Morris and at top of hill make a right onto East Park Pl. Make  a left at the next light onto N Park Pl.  Turn right onto Washington St which is CR 510/NJ 24.  Continue for almost 12 miles to Main St Chester.  Turn left onto Grove St.

A beautiful brand new playground with the coolest climbing rock ever; an actual boulder complete with fossil like prints.  There are also great play things and it is an easy walking distance to town; the only notable missing item is bathrooms.
