Doremus Ave off of Rock Rd, Glen Rock, NJ

DIRECTIONS:   NJ-4 W towards Paterson. Stay straight to go onto NJ-208 N. Slight right toward Lincoln Ave/Ridgewood. Slight right onto Rea Ave. Turn left onto Lincoln Ave and then right onto Rock Rd. Proceed on Rock for .4 miles and make a left onto Doremus Ave

Glen Rock’s Faber Field is at the entrance of the Glen Rock Arboretum. Area is completely shaded with large trees. There is a small building with restrooms. Playground is in parking lot of Glen Rock town pool.  For more information, check out the Arboretum website or  the Glen Rock NJ website.

PARKING:   Large paved lot close to the playground.

PICNICKING:   Three picnic tables at entrance of play area.(need to verify if still there)

SEESAWS:   bouncers

SLIDES:   various

SPORTS:   Football, baseball, soccer fields

SWINGS:   Two full size, four toddler (not sure if they are still there)

OTHER COOL STUFF:   The playground is at the entrance of the Arboretum. There is a walking path with a fountain that leads through pretty trees to a large pond with a fountain. All of the trees planted are for different holidays such as Arbor Day or in memorium. Ice skating is allowed on the pond when noted that it is frozen and safe.

MAKE A DAY OF IT:   Visit Little Hands Art on Rock Road.  Make a right out of park to the “rock” circle. Make a left into downtown Glen Rock. Little Hands Art offers open ceramics painting, classes, and birthday parties. (THIS MAY HAVE CLOSED. WEBSITE NO LONGER EXISTS!)
