Update: For a great sledding spot, check out the intersection of Goffle Road & Diamond Bridge Ave. (directly west of this park) Check out the article from the Bergen Record on the sledding highlights.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to Liba for getting us 2 playgrounds in Passaic County, NJ. For these parks, she’s receiving 2 free passes to Imagine That!!! Check out our promotion to see how you can earn passes too. Unfortunately she was disappointed in the status of the parks in Goffle Brook Park. I noticed there was a picture of an updated park in the county website, but don’t know where that would be, it’s 103 acres and no map on the website! If anyone knows of some nice playgrounds in Hawthorne, help us out, and comment below!!

Located near Diamond Bridge Ave & Brookside Ave in Hawthorne NJ, this section of Goffle Brook Park has a small playground rated at 2 stars. A sprawling park with a small, older playground in a shady area just off the main parking lot. Also, sports fields and courts nearby, trail walking paths and A dog run and many picnic tables. I went by on a cloudy day and didn’t even want to get out of my car! This is probably best used when the older kids want to play an open field sports and the young ones need to be entertained.
