Monkeydoodles Playroom is a brightly colored and spotless brand spanking new (as of Jan 2012) play place dedicated exclusively to children up to 5 years old at 832 Route 15S in Lake Hopatcong.
At Monkeydoodles you will find a small indoor playground, play kitchen, right-sized ball pit, foam mats and blocks and all sorts of balls, toys and equipment for toddlers and pre-schoolers to explore.
There is also a party room/kitchen which is perfect for private play dates, birthday parties or just a quick break from playing and a snack.
The bathroom has the all important changing table and in the kitchen you’ll find the also important Keurig.
Monkeydoodles is the perfect spot for a change of scenery and an opportunity to meet new friends during open play or gather with your friends and family in a spot other than your home. The little ones will discovering new things to play or even playing with things they have at home in a new location.
Open play is $8 for the first child and $6 per sibling. You can find the schedule here. Private playdates are $75 for 1 ½ hours or $90 for 2 hours – get 10 kids and that’s really reasonable! Check out their birthday parties and classes too. Visit the website for the latest information.
There’s also a paint your own pottery and glass fusing studio called “A’ La Art” right next door and plenty of places to eat down the street including the renowned Jefferson Diner and Jefferson Dairy.
