41 Chestnut Street, Montclair, NJ. This Montclair park is adjacent to the Essex Park Pool and skating ice rink. Cross Chestnut Street for the other facilities of Essex Park. A shady spot, with slides and swings and picnic tables, check out our pics, it’s a little less popular than the bigger parks.
About a mile away from the park on Bloomfield Avenue is “just kidding around” toy store. We didn’t get a chance to stop in but it did catch our eye.

We discovered this playground last weekend, and it was definitely the shadiest we’ve ever been to. In 90+ degrees, there was a nice breeze.
