In the vicinity (east) of Jane Terrace and W. Mendham Rd., Mendham, NJ. About 8 miles west from Morristown (Washington St. & Western Ave).. Haven’t seen a more sprawled out playground like this in NJ yet. I think the mere structures are worth the trip, very well done. Kids have a great time here, with a huge sandbox. If you are headed to Chester for pumpkin picking, it is a great place to stop by. Can’t recall the restroom situation, except that there is definitely a portapotty there.. but I’m I think the pictures say it all… Thanks Amy from the playground guide, she has 250+ playgrounds for Morris County.

Thanks for the recommendation, we checked this one out today, and when we drove up, my daughter said, “now THAT’s a playground!” She was right, too. Very nice, with a shady gazebo in front.
One note, though, out at the street the sign says Wysong park.
One other note there is no source for water at this playground so bring some drinks.

Ralston playground is a nice park to visit. It is located behind a firehouse on Washington rd pass the Kings in Mendam. My children loved the swings and slides. Also, they have a pretty cool sandbox and wooden train structure that was fun for my 19 month old son to play in. My 9 yr old really had fun meeting new friends and building a track and in the sand. It is a clean park with alot of different slides and swings. Have fun!
I am new to the area and am having a hard time figuring out where this park is located. Any suggestions? I live in Pottersville (off 206).

“This park is located behind Wysong Field on Route 24 in Mendham. Heading away from Mendham on Route 24 towards Chester, it is located on the left side of the road behind a pale yellow fire house after passing Ironia Road on the right and Roxiticus Road on the left.”
