77 E. Blackwell St., Dover, NJ.
A small train table, Papier Mache heads, Electricity Exhibits, Toddler Area, Stage, and lots of Children’s work displayed for viewing. I have to admit the decor is odd at first, but the kids were definitely entertained in this place for a couple hours. For a $5 admission, if you are nearby I would pay this place a visit as an alternative to the bigger museums.
Some Highlights:
Besides the toddler area which is spacious and shown above, there is a little stage with costumes, and a toy megaphone, will let your kids perform for you while they see themselves on the TV.
Although there are multiple rooms, it is a rather small museum, so not as hard to find your kids, also only one entrance.
Clay is available for molding, and a sink nearby to wash your hands.
A rocketship to climb into.
Art room with easels (no paints that I saw)
Check out all the papier mache people eating dinner, including replicas of JK Rowling, and Oprah Winfrey.
Also if you are looking for Birthday parties, they have a room available, check out more pics below and their website for details:
Sidenote: For the money it’s a good deal, and you can find a coupon for buy one get one free from kidstuff coupon book. Look out this fall for kids fundraising, that book is one of the best values I have come across. I saved so much this year with it, including Land of Make Believe, Five Below, Gymboree.
