UPDATE: 2/16/2015- Chuckle Time is now closed, this post is here for historical purposes. If you are interested in reaching out to the owners before they leave to say thanks or purchase equipment, check out their final message here- http://www.chuckle-time.com/

We had the opportunity to visit a brand new indoor place to play.. Chuckle Time open in July of 2012 in Andover NJ. Find it at 64 Stickles Pond Road (Blue Building Next to Schwan’s) Phone 973-300-0455

The kids (8, 7 and 5) had a great time and of course, didn’t want to leave.

They spent an hour in the miniature grocery store, reading labels, weighing produce and patiently waiting in line at the cash register. Another hour was spent in the pretend 50’s style diner making cakes, cookies, serving giant sodas and counting cash.

The boys enjoyed playing with the remote control cars which are contained on their own little track. Everyone had fun climbing all around the 3 story indoor playground and they especially enjoyed the steep and twisty slide.

There are also a few electronic video games, a toddler play area, a “tea room” and the always entertaining train table. There’s a really cute dinosaur table and a multi-story garage too.

The party rooms are freshly painted and spacious and there is plenty of seating for adults that accompany the children, plus WiFi and a vending machine with healthy options

Bring no-slip socks if you can! The floors are slippery and socks are required.

Be prepared to have a ton of fun and use your imagination for some creative pretend play.

We met the owners while we were there and based on their level of enthusiasm I’m guessing you will see lots of fun activities and new things to play with as Chuckle Time gets going!

At the time we visited pricing was $10 plus tax for children 2 and older and children walking to 23 months were $ 6.00 plus tax. Crawlers, non-walkers and parents were free. Visit the website for current pricing, hours and events.
