Eagle Rock Avenue and Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ.

Editor’s Note:  We just visited Lurker Park during our swim team season.  Highly recommend swim team for this particular division.

Would use the Tom Rinaldi Recreation Center on google maps for parking.  Link here: https://goo.gl/maps/AErUPrSkkBgceyEu5

If you park far away, prepare for a walk, and look for the tennis courts, it is a bit hidden. We noticed the park during a swim meet and were pleasantly surprised!

Check out the “Expression Swing” where parent and baby can enjoy a swing together.  I was acting too shy to ask the mom that was there with their baby so found an alternate pic.

(first pic shows it in gallery below) (We want to find more of these unusual structures so check out our scavenger hunt here and maybe you can help us)

Great playground with restrooms nearby. Swings, slides, trees, and benches with age 2-5 and 5-10 playgrounds, and climbing structures too. Take a look at the pics below all are from this summer of 2023!

From Amy’s The Playground Guide Listings:

411 Ridgedale Ave & Eagle Rock

Ridgedale Ave is easily accessible from Routes 80, 280, 10, and 24. From 287 take the Route 10 exit and bear right onto Route 10 East. Turn right onto Ridgedale Ave and continue on two miles. Park is on your right.

Busy town recreation complex with ball fields, roller rink, tennis, town pool and recreation center. Hosts summer concert nights and Farmers Market. Great playground made of Trex and metal with rubber flooring (very cushiony!) Hosts summer playground programs during the week so is very crowded during the day. Two separate play areas for 2-5 and 5-12 year olds.
