Acker Park, Roselle Park NJ

Acker Park is a hidden gem that is located on the intersection of Lehigh Avenue and Woodland Avenue in Roselle Park. This park was recently funded and renovated.

It is completely fenced, although the main entrance is kept open during park hours.

I found this virtual tour of Acker Park Playground.

Picnicking: 2 picnic tables at end of play area, 1 roofed picnic table at center of park
Climbing: twisty fireman pole
Playthings: small dinosaur to crawl around for little kids
Seesaws: 2 vehicle bouncies, 1 see-saw with animal bouncies on each end
Slides: 1 twisty, 1 double straight, and 4 around the 2-5y structure
Swings: 2 adult, 1 baby, 1 plastic-molded, 1 bench swing
Ground Covering: spongy flooring surrounding equipment with woodchips in perimeter

  1. Very nice park!!!! Clean and great condition. Would not recommend going after school, because it gets too crowded. Also the regulars and their children can be very nasty toward new kids. The park is definitely nice, but beware of some very nasty regulars who make it very clear you are not wanted.
